THE BHIVPURI TRAIL
Bhivpuri is a town in Karjat Taluka near Mumbai. It is the location of Bhivpuri Road railway station of the Mumbai Suburban Railway. A temple of Sai Baba of Shirdi is located here.Numerous nearby waterfalls attract visitors on weekends. Bhivpuri Dam and a hydro-electricity generation plant of Tata Power is located nearby. Neral is the previous stop and Karjat is the next stop.
Me and my friends planned about this trail just a night prior to the trip. We had no idea of the place but were excited to explore this untouched piece of nature. We gathered some information from our parents about bhivpuri and next day were all ready for the trail.
We started early from dombivli as we had to return by evening. We got into the train by 6.45 am and reached bhivpuri at 8 o'clock.

We had our breakfast in the hotel near the station and commenced the trail. We had no idea of the route but fortunately we met a native guy who told us the route .
Firstly we reached a huge lake we were so excited that we jumped into the lake.
Slowly it started to rain and the scene became much more beautiful , due the rainy climate we saw many waterfalls and small water streams which ended up into the lake .
Our destination was the huge waterfall. We were walking for about an hour nad half when we heard the sound of the waterfall. We were all exhausted and needed rest so we increased ur speed and reached the waterfall by 11.
When we reached the waterfall we started playing in the water , the water was shivering cold and was dropping from a height of about 60 feet. We enjoyed a lot their and were ready to return when one of my friend suggested to climb the mountain and take some pictures from the top. The mountain was really high !!!!!!! it took us about two hours to reach the village held at the top. We had no idea that people live on such heights . finally we decided to to go back to the station but the villagers suggested us to go from another route as the first one would’ve become slippery due to heavy rain.
So we packed our bags again and started going down . we found a bunch of horses their they were looking really adorable. Leaving the horses back it was an hour and we had understood till now that we have been mistaken !!! We had lost hour paths. Fortunately we met a shepherd who explained us the route once again and then we got our route back.
It was 3 till when we reached near the staion , we were exhausted but were happy and excited to tell our parents about the the trail because it was the first time when we friends went on a trip without our parents or any other elderly guidance with us .
